Gomez Media and Music Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Rehearsal Space platform and the Dispatch application ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use Dispatch.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Dispatch including artists, bands, and music professionals who create accounts ("Artists" or "Users") and to fans and subscribers who sign up to receive communications through the platform ("Fans" or "Subscribers").
By using Dispatch, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create a Dispatch account, Gomez Media and Music Co. is the data controller for your personal information — your name, email address, billing information, and account data.
When you as an Artist collect and manage your fan subscriber list through Dispatch, you are the data controller for that subscriber data. Gomez Media and Music Co. acts as a data processor — we process fan data only on your instructions and solely for the purpose of delivering the email marketing services you direct.
As the data controller for your fan list, you bear legal responsibility for obtaining valid consent from fans, providing accurate information about data use, honoring fan requests to access or delete data, and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.
Users subject to GDPR may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) from Gomez Media and Music Co. Contact hello@rehearsalspaceapp.com to request a DPA.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process and deliver email campaigns, track campaign performance, process payments, send service notifications, comply with legal obligations, and detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
We do not sell your personal data or your fan subscriber data to third parties. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

All email campaigns sent through Dispatch automatically include a physical mailing address (6210 Wilshire Blvd Ste 200 PMB 808, Los Angeles, CA 90048), a one-click unsubscribe mechanism, and accurate sender identification. Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days.
For users and fans in the European Economic Area, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information). Contact hello@rehearsalspaceapp.com to exercise your CCPA rights.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Cancelled accounts enter a read-only state for 12 months then are permanently deleted. Deleted account data is removed within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest in Firebase Firestore, password hashing, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Fans may unsubscribe from any Artist's list at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. Fans may request deletion of their data by contacting hello@rehearsalspaceapp.com.
Dispatch is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
